Decline of the Auto Industry
Fall In the 70's
Most people know that the auto industry is not doing well now a days. Actually did you know that in the 70's the auto industry did not do vary well. According to The New York Times "The companies started to experiment with automation, and the energy cries in the 70's." The New York Times also said "competition from other counties made profits plummet." According to John Tamny "They nicknamed 70's fords repair or fix daily and the same with GM and Chrysler."

Factories are Changing
According to robot.com "Ford spent 1 billion dollars to update there factory with robots." It seem like that there is more automation in the factories. According to robot.com "Chrysler in the late 90's early 2000's started robotic automation in there factories." cnbc.com said "that U.S. compony may go to Mexico because of cheeper labor. Larger vehicles would be better to be made in the U.S." I think that there is more jobs being lost in the auto industry form robots taking over the factories not form the jobs moving to other country's. In the video below Car Factory - Kia Sportage factory production line show how automated factories have gotten.
